About the Gazelle Medeo T9 HMB (trapeze frame)
Good Looks, Great Ability
We really like the look of this bike. It looks sporty yet pretty, and just smart from head to toe. But it's not just the way it looks that impresses us, it's the function as well.
The bike has the Bosch Performance motor which has eMTB mode. This means the motor adds in extra power when it senses that you are putting more power from your legs through the pedals. So, for stop-start traffic, this is brilliant for getting you up to speed straight away. Simply put a bit more force down through your pedal and the power will be there.
Really nice riding position
Unusually for a city e-bike like this, the handlebars are a little swept back which allows for a relatively upright riding position. When you're riding around towns and cities, it feels a lot safer to have your head high so you have a long line of sight.
The trapeze frame is also good for stop-start traffic. Without a high crossbar in the way, it's safe and convenient to hop forward off the saddle when you need to stop quickly.
Other nice features
+ The tyre width makes for a comfortable, confident ride and will make it possible to ride on well-maintained gravel tracks.
+ The battery is very easily removable for security or indoor charging.
+ MIK rear rack. Compatible with several high quality rear bags.
Summary: Might be the loveliest looking bike in the showroom at the moment, and has a great specification for the commuter or rider who wants to do leisure riding over well-maintained trails.
