What we like about the Ultimate range from Gazelle is that they are fitted with Bosch Performance motors. These powerful climbing motors were originally created for electric mountain bikes. However when they're fitted into a bike like this, it means riding uphill even with full pannier bags is a pleasure. Don't be afraid to pack extra when you have a Bosch Performance motor.
Beautifully finished
Gazelle's are extremely well made. It's hard to tell just from photographs, but when you see them in the showroom - and eventually come to test-ride one - you understand that serious care has gone into its manufacturing. The clean lines, the robustness of the components and smoothness of the ride actually make the rider feel somewhat regal.
Summary: The Ultimate range by Gazelle has been a favourite at Energise E-bikes for the past few seasons. If quality, comfort and performance matter to you, the Ultimate C5 is worth the price tag.
